Seafood Coming to Smith Street
The corner of Smith and President will soon have a raw bar called Kittery, named after a town in Maine. The owners of neighboring Ciro's and Bagels on the Park recently whitewashed the exterior and painted a lobster on the wall of their latest project. The space was previously occupied by the short-lived Diego, who proved that the neighborhood didn't really need another overpriced Mexican restaurant. Hopefully Kittery's prices and service will be better than the much maligned Brooklyn Crab whose exquisite views still draw enough crowds to warrant a shuttle bus.
