The mini-golf course isn't set up yet (some skinny jeans-wearing hipsters are sprawled out on them like they are modelling for an Urban Outfitter's ad) and the ground hasn't been broken yet on the bocce ball court, but they are open and the place has great bones. The stilted 3-story edifice has views of the Statue of Liberty and a shuttle bus to the subway. It's a huge lot that's going to draw crowds to rival Astoria's Bohemian Hall Beer Garden, and it's only a matter of time before the locals begin grumbling about how Red Hook just isn't what it used to be -- even after Ikea and Fairway moved in.
